Our School Uniform
"We don't wear our uniform because everyone has to look the same. We wear it because everyone belongs."
At St Stephen's, we believe that our school uniform is about much more than clothing - it is a symbol of belonging. When children wear our uniform, they become part of our school community, helping to create a shared identity where everyone feels included, equal and proud to represent our school.
We ask all families to support our uniform policy because we know that parents want their children to feel that sense of belonging from the moment they walk through our gates.
We are also committed to keeping uniform affordable. In line with recent government guidance, branded uniform is kept to a minimum, meaning most items can be purchased from a wide range of retailers. We are also fortunate to have our wonderful PTA-run Seconds Uniform Shed, where families can access clean, good-quality donated uniform for a voluntary contribution, helping to ensure that every child can wear our uniform with pride.
